Here are our thoughts: Will it be the exact same chronological feed from the early days of Instagram? We doubt it.
That feed had its flaws too and could be easily used in a way to deliver low quality content to people. We think the current feed is a huge improvement for this reason.
But, we can all also relate to the feeling that our content just isn’t being seen and some of these options (like the Favorites feature in particular) sound like they’re being given to help us with that.
Remember, they’ve made it really clear that these will be OPTIONS and not mandatory. So there isn’t a drastic change coming to IG.
At the end of the day, high quality content, consistent posting, and strong relationships with your audience will still be what you want to put forward if you want to grow on here.
