There are 4 types of content that you need in your strategy:
If you want to gain followers, connect with your audience, gain their trust as well as make money, then you need these!
1 – Educational content
The most important of all the content types out there! You should post valuable content at least 60% of the time! It should be high value and practical. Carousels are a great way of providing educational content and these are the posts that get the most saves!
2 – Inspirational content
Here is where you connect with your audience! Show your face, share a secret, tell a story. Let your audience in a bit and let them know you. Photos or Reels where you show your face is definitely recommended!
3 – BTS (Behind-the-scenes content)
BE TRANSPARENT!! Show what you or your business is all about. Share your workspace, share testimonials, show them your strategies and what you’re busy with. Your audience is more likely to trust you if you are open with them!
4 – Promotional content
Don’t kid yourself, we’re all here to try and make a living or a few extra bucks on the side. PROMOTE your stuff! You might think it’s obvious that you are selling something or hosting something, it’s not! Only promote 5% of the time though, unless you’re running a promotion / launching a new product or service.
